Puppy Group Training
As a dog trainer, I strongly believe that training a puppy as soon as possible is crucial for their development and future behavior.
In Switzerland, the law requires mandatory group courses for all dogs, and I agree that this is an excellent approach to ensure that owners understand their dogs better.
Through group training, owners and their dogs can spend quality time together, learn new skills, and build a stronger bond.
Additionally, group training provides an opportunity for dogs to socialize with other dogs and people in a controlled environment, which can help prevent future behavioral problems.
Overall, training a puppy early and participating in group courses is an investment in the dog's well-being and a more enjoyable relationship between dog and owner.
When - What - Where - What to bring
When your dog is between 8 and 16 weeks old it is best to take part in a puppy group where the puppies learn about other dogs from different breeds and how to interact with them.
In Kanton Zürich the puppy course is obligatory for dogs of breed type I, that as an adult reach 16kg or shoulder height of 45cm.
