Francesca Dalesio – K9 Dog Trainer & Behavior Consultant
Hello and welcome!
I’m Francesca, a professional K9 dog trainer with over 12 years of experience helping dogs and their humans build calm, clear, and trusting relationships.
I grew up on a farm in Syros, Greece, surrounded by animals and nature. From a young age, I learned the importance of patience, respect, and consistency. My first dog, Bella, showed me how powerful the bond between a dog and a human can be — and ever since, I knew this would be my path.
At 19, I completed hands-on training and earned my dog trainer diploma, working with a wide variety of breeds, personalities, and behavior types. Since then, I’ve specialized in individualized training, offering private and group lessons in Zurich designed around the specific needs of each dog.
I don’t follow a one-size-fits-all method. My philosophy is simple: every dog is different, and training must adapt to their energy, motivation, and stage of development. I use a combination of treat-based rewards and leash guidance, depending on what works best for the dog in front of me. The goal is to help dogs learn clearly, and for their humans to feel confident and in control.
By my side is Kaly, my 10-year-old Malinois. She’s highly trained and serves as my trusted training assistant. In many sessions, she helps guide other dogs — and their people — through calm presence, example, and communication.
I offer services in English, Greek, and Italian, and I also speak German at a conversational level. All sessions and programs at KIKA Dog Training are led personally by me.
